Christmas Day = REALLY LONG!!!

Christmas Day where to begin...

Sleep was good, but lacking for the excitement that was coming that morning.
Got up at 9:15 am with a call from mom saying come on over to help set up for breakfast... Dad made me happy and made the traditional dropped eggs on toast, bacon, and OJ!!! Tim, Amanda, and the babe came down and ate with us.
We then opened our presents, Hailey, of course, receiving the most presents... I got a great Patriots sweater... GO PATS!!! Mom and dad got me blinds for my window ( I work 3rd shift, sleep is hard when the sun beams you in the face) and a brand new TV and entertainment stand, which looks awesome!
FYI: Mom also helped we clean and re-setup my room, it looks so nice now!
Now the fun part...
The adventurous trip... 95 Miles north...
At about 3:30 pm or so, I headed up north to be with Laura and her family, after crazy holiday traffic and a stop at Starbucks and an hour and 40 minutes or so I arrived, the house was surrounded by cars, when Laura said family, she meant her WHOLE family, who i've already met most of them, so it wasn't that bad... Got in, we did the gift exchange, I got her parents a giftcard to Olive Garden - a dinner for 2 and Laura got the Softest blanket on the Face of the Earth from Bath and Body Works... Needless to say she loved it. Her parents got me a giftcard to The Pizza Stone, some amazing new drumsticks, and some really comfy new soft PJ pants. Laura got me junk food, junk food, a wicked nice ring, a super comfy shirt, an aromatherapy mint pack, and did I mention junk food? Yes, yes I did... The rest of the night we played on their new Nintendo Wii and Laura and I watched Music and Lyrics, and finally after a fun filled (Tiring) day we went to sleep, 6 hrs of sleep we woke back up and I headed home! Then friends, travel, work, and moving i'm about to finally sleep again!
Good Night to All!
Matt out! Peace...

Snowed In

So, Monday was our first big snow of the season. I (Laura) was supposed to work Monday night, but called out early because I knew a storm was coming, and was walkin' in a winter wonderland with Matt, Karen and Meesh all day on Monday. We had a great day of sledding, jumping into snowbanks, board games, and twister moves. Oh, and pizza :).

I still had to drive in the snow on Tuesday morning though, which stunk, especially since my class should have been cancelled, or the school should have at least been delayed.

Oh well, sometimes you just have to drive in the snow.

Crazy Couple in Pictures

As if I needed to tell you this, but Matt and I can be silly, and I decided to show some crazy pictures as proof: Six flags, pretending to be afraid of the ride...

I told him to smile... He decided to sleep...

"What the heck is she doing to my hair?"

...

It was a long ride, we had to keep ourselves amused!!!

Aww, poor baby....

AHH TOO MUCH ENERGY!

He's a goof.

Weekend of Fun

Well first off, I would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEESH!!! Who, although she murdered her husband, hosted a great birthday party! We had a blast! And to make a good day great, Meesh, Karen, Matt and I went to Wendy's after church and then to WalMart, where we found a lonely PS3 with a drum and guitar game hookup ;) we were there almost until closing, and had a blast, with Matt and I having the greatest combo. score: Him on drums, me on the guitar ;)

Peace Out - Laura

Laura's hectic Schedule

Since Matt posted how crazy busy his life was, I just had to post how crazy insane busy my life is! Work has slowed down a little bit, but for a few weeks in a row I only had Sundays off, between school and work. Now I have Sundays and sometimes Fridays :-p. Add in 5 midterms in three weeks and you've got my life!

Ok. I'm done complaining. Besides, I've got a paper to write ;-)

Keep on Truckin'

As Laura said, life has been REALLY busy, i've been working, studying for A+ Certification, Bible college, drumming, and then figuring out weekends with Laura... i'm pooped, but enough about me, not really, I have a ton of new stuff on my plate, we're getting young adult ministry up and running again, AKA Generation Christ, which is my other project, getting a website up and going again as well... but we've been getting a ton of stuff done, including a group Logo!

Laura Designed it!

We're going to be doing a ton more with, keep checking in to get more info as it comes along!

Busy, Busy, Busy.

The past three weeks or so have been fairly uneventful. On columbus day we went for a train ride, and then a drive through the White Mountains with Matt's parents for his mom's birthday. Matt and I have been able to see each other on the weekends, which is always a good thing, but this past week I had to do some homework while we were together. I guess I can't complain. Saturday night, we were in a very minor car accident, no one was hurt, but my car had to be towed, so I'm not sure If I will be able to visit him this weekend (as planned), or if Matt will have to come visit me. Either way, it will be a short visit, which won't be so bad because I do have a lot of homework to catch up on. Anyway, this blog very much so needed an update. . .

Nancy's B[l]og

So today, Matt counted in Spanish. So I retaliated in Latin. Then he went all Portugese on me. Then I gave up. OH WAIT I did it in English!!! haha so we're even :). OK I just had to post that mini story and now onto our real adventure of the day...

Matt was being lazy and I knew if we stayed home we would sit on the couch all day, so I decided to drag him on a short four wheeler ride through the woods, over the river and... not to Grandma's house, but to Nancy's Bog! It's a nice little.. well, bog at the base of Mount Pisgah, and since the last time I braved Mt. Pisgah, I flipped the four wheeler, we stayed in safe zone :). Needless to say, we both had a great time, and I took lots of pictures and feel obligated to share them for anyone who is crazy enough to read our blog.

Together Again

So, after another long week, Matt is back in my neck of the woods. He probably would have posted the pictures from our theme day by now, but I had them and have been too lazy/busy to load them onto my PC. We forgot to bring the camera to the orchard (I think Matt almost cried :-P) but we did take some of us making pies :-)!

Yeah. I know he's cute :)

I wouldn't expect anything less from Matt :-p

Delays, Mac&Cheese

Okay, so today Matt arrived at my house! YAY! Work was soooo dragged out knowing he was so close, but I had to sit and say "would you like to donate a dollar to the Childrens hospital in Portland?" Well, i called the Apple Orchard, and since they were only open until 5, we are going after church instead. So today was a lazy day, but we did make macaroni and cheese together! It turned out great considering I've never cooked it before, and just threw a bunch of stuff together and Matt... Well, Matt doesnt cook. We make a great team, Matt did the cheese grating and stirring, and I did everything else! (Which is boiling water, and putting a pan in the stove -Matt)

Well, thats about it for today, we'll check back in after our theme day, which Matt is convinced is going to go horribly wrong and everything blamed on him.

Our Theme Day!

After a long week, spraining my wrist, working third shift, and always never having enough money, a miracle has happened!!! The weekend is here! The best part is, I'm going to spend it with my most favorite girlfriend in the whole wide world, Laura!(Isn't she beautiful! *smile*)

And she has come up with a theme day for us on Saturday, I'll be working long hours 11pm-7am tonight, and driving out to her house for 95 miles or 1 hour 45 minutes the following morning!

(This image is for those of you who don't believe I'm crazy enough to do it!)

I'll be then getting my rest till she returns to her house at around 3pm! And our exciting day begins, we are planning on going out to an apple orchard to pick some apples, and then we will return to her house to make some AMAZING deserts! We'll be making, (in other words, she'll make and I'll be a nuisance TRYING to help, but obviously just getting in her way) Applesauce, apple cobbler (maybe), apple pie, apple crisp, and apple dumplings (possibly)! And that shall be our day, we'll have some more pics of our day for you, as they come *smile*!

(This is just to prove we are the Cutest couple ever!)
