Nancy's B[l]og

So today, Matt counted in Spanish. So I retaliated in Latin. Then he went all Portugese on me. Then I gave up. OH WAIT I did it in English!!! haha so we're even :). OK I just had to post that mini story and now onto our real adventure of the day...

Matt was being lazy and I knew if we stayed home we would sit on the couch all day, so I decided to drag him on a short four wheeler ride through the woods, over the river and... not to Grandma's house, but to Nancy's Bog! It's a nice little.. well, bog at the base of Mount Pisgah, and since the last time I braved Mt. Pisgah, I flipped the four wheeler, we stayed in safe zone :). Needless to say, we both had a great time, and I took lots of pictures and feel obligated to share them for anyone who is crazy enough to read our blog.

Together Again

So, after another long week, Matt is back in my neck of the woods. He probably would have posted the pictures from our theme day by now, but I had them and have been too lazy/busy to load them onto my PC. We forgot to bring the camera to the orchard (I think Matt almost cried :-P) but we did take some of us making pies :-)!

Yeah. I know he's cute :)

I wouldn't expect anything less from Matt :-p

Delays, Mac&Cheese

Okay, so today Matt arrived at my house! YAY! Work was soooo dragged out knowing he was so close, but I had to sit and say "would you like to donate a dollar to the Childrens hospital in Portland?" Well, i called the Apple Orchard, and since they were only open until 5, we are going after church instead. So today was a lazy day, but we did make macaroni and cheese together! It turned out great considering I've never cooked it before, and just threw a bunch of stuff together and Matt... Well, Matt doesnt cook. We make a great team, Matt did the cheese grating and stirring, and I did everything else! (Which is boiling water, and putting a pan in the stove -Matt)

Well, thats about it for today, we'll check back in after our theme day, which Matt is convinced is going to go horribly wrong and everything blamed on him.

Our Theme Day!

After a long week, spraining my wrist, working third shift, and always never having enough money, a miracle has happened!!! The weekend is here! The best part is, I'm going to spend it with my most favorite girlfriend in the whole wide world, Laura!(Isn't she beautiful! *smile*)

And she has come up with a theme day for us on Saturday, I'll be working long hours 11pm-7am tonight, and driving out to her house for 95 miles or 1 hour 45 minutes the following morning!

(This image is for those of you who don't believe I'm crazy enough to do it!)

I'll be then getting my rest till she returns to her house at around 3pm! And our exciting day begins, we are planning on going out to an apple orchard to pick some apples, and then we will return to her house to make some AMAZING deserts! We'll be making, (in other words, she'll make and I'll be a nuisance TRYING to help, but obviously just getting in her way) Applesauce, apple cobbler (maybe), apple pie, apple crisp, and apple dumplings (possibly)! And that shall be our day, we'll have some more pics of our day for you, as they come *smile*!

(This is just to prove we are the Cutest couple ever!)
